The commodore of the Cornell navy has received an invitation to enter the Cornell crew in the annual regatta of the North western Rowing Association at Detroit next summer. It is probable that the invitation will be accedted as it will afford the Cornell crew a chance to measure strength with the Atlantas who are to row Yale.

The "Class of '76 Prize" for the debate, which was held at Princeton on the evening of February 22, has been awarded to B. Phinizy, '92, of Georgia. The prize is the interest of $1,00, and is contested for yearly on Washington's Birthday, by four men, one from each class.

The Yale Bicycle club has received a letter from the New Haven Bicycle club inviting the Yale club, if Harvard's challenge to a race is accepted, to run the race at the Elm city driving park, Monday, June 9, when the New Haven club will hold a race meet there.

At the recent meeting of the New England Intercollegiate Athletic Association the University of Vermont was admitted to membership. The following colleges are now represented in the Association: Williams, Amherst, Dartmouth, Brown, Trinity, Wesleyan, Worcester, Polytechnic Institute and University of Vermont.
