If the attendance at the meeting of the Co-operative society last evening is any sign, the members intend to place implicit confidence in the new board of directors. These officers will have before them a task which will require great activity and earnest work, if they undertake to correct the abuses we have already called attention to. The society appears to have been badly managed and to be sadly in need of reform. With a suitable superintendent, and a board of officers elected especially for the purpose. great improvements ought to be made in the coming year.
