Harvard Union.

The debate at the Union this evening promises to be one of unusual interest. The subject for debate is the political question now most prominently before the country. The management are making a determined effort to revive the interest, both of the members and of the college at large, in the Union. The society is one of the oldest of its kind in the country, and should receive heartier support than has been accorded it in past years.

The question for tonight is: "Resolved, That Speaker Reed's action in the house is to be approved." The principal disputants are: Affirmative-W. C. Green, D. S, and R. T. Paine, L. S.; negative-L. McK. Garrison, L. S., and B. A. Gould, '91.
