Changes in the Yale Curriculum.

The Yale faculty are about to make some important changes in the academic curriculum by which the study of philosophy will be begun at the beginning of the junior year. Hereafter it will be entirely finished in the junior year. The required work in astronomy will also probably be changed from the junior year back to the sophomore year, thus finishing up mathematics in the sophomore year. The work of the senior year will be made up practically of elective courses; there will be four two-hour-a-week courses offered one of which the seniors will be required to choose. The rest of the work of the senior year will consist entirely of elective studies.
