The annual meeting of the Intercollegiate Athletic association will be held at the Fifth Avenue hotel in New York Saturday. Most of the twenty colleges comprising the association will send delegates to the meeting. Officers for the coming year will be elected and the annual business of the association transacted. The intercollegiate cup, usually known as the Mott Haven cup, came finally to Harvard last year. This year a series of fourteen annual championships will be begun, for a new cup offered by Dr. John S. White, president of the Berkeley Athletic club, by Chauncey M. Depew, and by several other Berkeley members. The events which will be contested are as follows:
TRACK EVENTS.One hundred yard dash.
One hundred and twenty yard hurdle race.
Two mile bicycle race.
Two hundred and twenty yard run.
Quarter mile run.
Half mile run.
Mile walk
Two hundred and twenty yard hurdle race.
FIELD EVENTS.Tug-of-war.
Throwing the hammer.
Pole vault.
Running high jump.
Running broad jump.
