Chess and Whist Club.

Hereafter the meetings of the club will be held in the rooms of the Signet, No. 7 Brattle St. This is a more convenient situation, and the rooms are more comfortable than those in the old Pudding building. There will be a meeting tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock. Mr. Cummings of the Boston Chess club will be present and will play simultaneous games with as many as wish to oppose him. All members of the Harvard club who can play chess are especially urged to be present, so as to make a good showing against Mr. Cummings. The annual whist tournament will begin some time next week. A blue book for entries will be placed at Bartlett's Friday.
