At the semi-annual meeting of the CRIMSON board yesterday, the retiring senior board gave the paper into the hands of the Ninety one board, whose responsibility has begun with today's issue. We have no promises of improvement to make, but shall do our best to keep the paper up to the standard set by the Ninety board, and to continue the progress made under their leadership, for we believe that the CRIMSON has made a constant advance during the last year. We are not blind to the fact that faults still exist, and that there are opportunities open to a college daily paper which have never yet been fully seized upon by any Harvard publication. It will be our aim to remedy any faults we may find, and to make the CRIMSON fill a more important position in college life, and become more of a necessity to both students and instructors than ever before.
In these efforts we shall miss the aid and experience of the Ninety board. We know that we retain their sympathy, however, and shall try to earn as hearty congratulations from them, as we now extend to them for their successful administration of the CRIMSON.
