Today the first slow hare and hounds run of the season will be held. We would advise all men who possibly can to enter, as the pace will necessarily be slow and all will be able to keep up. The benefit derived from these runs by the candidates for the Mott Haven team, has been found in past years to be considerable. This, together with the pleasure and excitement of the runs, should bring out a large number of men this afternoon.
