Those who see the freshman eleven often complain of the utter lack of spirit which is shown. It is a matter which we feel disposed to speak harshly about, for we see a freshman team throwing away all its practice time and living in fond hope that strength may come from somewhere. We can assure the freshmen that if a solid rush line is not formed and if the game is not thoroughly understood by every one, all the help it is possible for them to get later will be of little use.
