Harvard University wishes to express to Captain Cumnock all the admiration which is now his due. For four years Harvard has watched him, each year with increased interest and approbation, and when he took charge of the eleven, his zeal made everyone more at ease. Confidence in him was not misplaced. Last year an eleven was brought together which opened men's eyes, but this year Captain Cumnock sent a team against Yale which is a complete revelation to the college world. Nobody knows how hard he has worked, but everyone is sure that everything that Harvard can do for Arthur James Cumnock will not be great enough reward.
