Hubbell has been chosen temporary manager of the freshman eleven.

The B. A. A. holds an open meeting Oct. 18 in which several Harvard men have entered.

So few members of the electric club met last night that the meeting was postponed.

H. Corning has been appointed captain of the senior eleven in place of B. Bowman who has resigned.

W. C. Downs, '90, G. Batchelder '92, and C. R. Bardeen '93, have entered for the championship games to take place in Washington this week.

The proposed cricket match with St. Paul's school has been given up, owing to a regulation which forbids the school team to play out of town in term time.

A large number of men reported themselves last night as candidates for the Mott Haven team. The list is omitted this morning on account of press of matter.

A game with Lehigh has been arranged for the 'varsity for the fifteenth of this month. The Lehigh eleven, although one of the strongest teams there is, has never before played Harvard.

Harvard men made a good showing in the B. A. A. games at Irvington Oval yesterday afternoon. Hale, '91, won the hundred yards dash, and G. L. Batchelder, '92, took second place. In the half-mile Lowell, '92, with a fifteen yard handicap won easily in 2.13.
