There was re-assignment of seats in Fine Arts 3 Saturday. Two hundred and seventy-four (274) seats have been assigned.

The ground about Hastings is now well sodden and the old fence between the hall and the church is being removed;

A new daily paper has been established, the University of Michigan Independent. This is the fourth college daily in the country, the other three being the Yale News, the Cornell Sun and the DAILY CRIMSON.

Not enough members of the Shootiny Club gathered to have a meeting last night. A meeting is called for this evening.

Ward; Form Elements of the Blood, G. H. Parker; Preservation of Marine Animals, W. McM. Woodworth; Parietal Organ, W. E. Ritter. The doors will be open from 7.15 to 7.30, and all members of the university interested in Zoology are invited.
