At the annual meeting of the club last night in Sever 11, the report of the treasurer was read and adopted. Also several amendments to the constitution concerning the office of treasurer and the duties of the governing board were unanimously adopted After this Mr. J. W. Lund, president, made a number of remarks about the conduct of the boat-house in the past. The entrance fee had been put very low in order that there should be nothing to prevent anybody from joining the club. As a consequence the income of the club was barely enough to cover expenses and could do nothing toward paying for boats which must be bought in the future. It was necessary that if any damage was done to any of the boats that the person who had use of the boats at the time must pay for it. This some members had shown a dislike to do. It had been found necessary to post up a number of rules about conduct in the house and these had been to some extent disregarded. The students were enjoying the benefit of a splendid gift from Mr. Weld and they ought to feel a responsibility in seeing that they did not misuse it. After Mr. Lund had closed his remarks the following officers were unanimously elected: President, G. T. Goldthwaite, '91; secretary, R. C. Robbins, '92; governing board, J. W. Lund, L. S., G. Hay, L. S., T. N. Perkins, '91, P. Y. DeNormandie, '91.
