We wish to praise the Graduate Club for the work that was done last year. The superior facilities for advanced work and for original investigation which Harvard offers, have been made known by this club over a great territory and to just such a class of students as is desirable. The result is that the number of men at Harvard this year with degrees from other colleges is far larger than ever before, and the work on which members of the graduate department are employed promises great satisfaction. The Graduate Club has not only done much to fill up the higher departments of the University, but they also strive to extend the acquaintance of the new men and to give them a chance to enjoy themselves socially. It is one of the most beneficial of all the numberous clubs we have here.
