Harvard Winners.

E. B. BLOSS, '94, BREAKS A WORLD'S RECORD.

Yesterday afternoon at 4 p. m. the last of the fall series of handicap games was held on the Irvington Oval by the Boston Athletic Association. The meeting was a very successful one, and Harvard made an excellent showing. E. B. Bloss especially distinguished himself by breaking the world's record in the running hop, step and jump.

The following events, all handicap, were open to all amateurs: 50 yards dash, 100 yards hurdle race, 1000 yards run, running hop, step and jump.

The 50 yards dash was won by J. Hale, '92. E. C. Ellis, '94, was second. In the 100 yards hurdle race, K. Brown won third place. In the 1000 yards run, G. Lowell took second place, and G. L. Batchelder, '92, won third. In the running hop, step and jump E. B. Bloss, '94, won, breaking the world's record with a jump of 44 feet, 11 1-2 inches.
