Rev. Joseph H. Allen, of Cambridge, has lately published a volume entitled "Aryan Sun Myths-The Origins of Religion." A copy has just been placed on the new book shelves in the reading room of the library.
The Princetonian will this week publish a long article reviewing the athletic relations between Harvard and Princeton, which until 1887 were of a most friendly nature, and tracing the rise of the present controversy.
Most of the college athletic associations will send representatives to the annual indoor games of the University of Pennsylvania, which will be held in the Academy of Music, Philadelphia, Saturday of this week. There are 170 entries for the games this year, 40 more than last year. It is probable that J. P. Lee, '91, will run in the fifty yards dash as a representative of the New York Athletic club.
Among the late additions to the reference department of the library is the second edition of the catalogue of the York Gate library (London, Eng.), of books relating to geography, commerce and colonization. It is a quarto volume of 936 pages, printed on handmade paper with large margins, and illustrated with facsimiles of the title pages of rare volumes. The book is handsomely bound in full parchment.
