The fund which the Cornell restarted for the benefit of the crew now amounts to $1,565.
A great deal of discussion has been aroused at the University of Pennsylvania over the question of compulsory or voluntary chapel attendance. It is stated that the matter of making attendance at chapel voluntary has been seriously considered by the faculty.
The University of Berlin has seven thousand two hundred and eighty-six students matriculated this year. Of this number 632 are foreigners and 6654 are Germans. It is estimated that during the past year the number of students in attendance at the German universities has more than doubled.
