Today occur the intercollegiate games in New York. While we realize that the contests will be close, that we can not feel confident of winning the cup again this year, yet we are sure that our men will make every effort, and we hope that they will be successful.

By the brilliant work of our athletes in the past the Mott Haven cup belongs to Harvard, and after this will come to us as a reminder of Harvard's preeminence in track athletics, yet we hope that our tormer record may be kept up and that the work of our men today may cause the name of Harvard to be engraved on the last championship space.
