The energy shown by the Cricket club this year is very encouraging. This branch of our athletics, though herefore not supported by many men and having a number of difficulties to contend against, has always brought credit to the college. This year we are very glad to see that the club has begun the season with increased energy and under much more favorable conditions. More men are trying for the team than ever before and the drawback of having no suitable practice ground has been done away with. The need of having more room for our outdoor athletics is a question that demands immediate attention, and is strongly emphasized by the fact that the Cricket club can find no room for practice on the college grounds. This question is under consideration by the college, and we hope that another year will see something decisive done.

The Cricket club will play two intercollegiate matches this season, and the prospects of success are certainly encouraging. The energy and hard work of the club should ensure it the willing suppert of the college.
