The Cricket Club.

The old grounds of the Polo Club, which are a little beyond Mt. Auburn, have been secured for the spring, and are now being rolled. It is hoped they will be ready by tomorrow. The prospects for a good team are encouraging, as, besides five of last year's eleven who are now playing, several good men have come out. The complete schedule of games for this year is as follows:

May 4-Lawrence at Lawrence.

May 11 Fall River at Fall River.

May 18 Longwood at Longwood.

May 25 University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia.

May 30 Brockton at Brockton.

June 1 Mystic at Medford.

June 5 Harvarford College at Cambridge.

The Haverford men have been practicing under the coaching of Woodcock the college professional, since Christmas. They began work in a shead, the wicket being covered with matting Their captain, H. P. Bailey, is one of the bowlers on the first eleven of the Merion Cricket club. They ought to turn out a good team, and Harvard may expect to work hard if she wishes to lead the Quaker eleven. Of the men that will make up Pennsylvania's team, four-J. A. Scott, W. Scott, J. H. Patterson, and H. J. Brown-have been chosen for the Gentlemen of Philadelphia who are going to England this summer
