The Harvard Shooting Club shot against the Lexington Gun club at Lexington Saturday afternoon. Although Harvard's team was defeated, the defeat was not one which should discourage either the team or college as the scores mades by Lexington were remarkably good, and the conditions under which the match was shot were in favor of the home team, being new to the Harvard men. Each team was made up of five men each man shooting at twenty-five birds with the following results:

The average of the Harvard team was 70 per cent, while that of the Lexington team was remarkably high, being over 84 per cent.
