We are very glad to see that a Physical Club has been formed. As stated in yesterday's CRIMSON it is called the Jefferson Physical Club and is on the same plan as the Boylston Chemical Club. Such a club as this which has a definite purpose in its formation, and that a very laudable one, cannot help being successful. For men interested in a particular study or science, who have passed the elementary stage, there is always an immense advantage to be gained from the association and discussion of ideas in a club of fellow students. The stimulus of such a club is of great value.

The new club has the professors and instructors in the Physical Department in active sympathy with it, and has had the use of a room in the Jefferson Laboratory granted it. There is certainly room for such a club and we wish it the best of success.
