Yale's Project for the Extension of College Education.

Some members of the Yale faculty have taken a prominent part in a project which has been recently brought forward for the purpose of extending the advantages of a college education to some who have not heretofore been able to enjoy them. President Dwight has been elected president of the committee, and many of the professors have signified their willingness to assist in the undertaking. The scheme is much similar to that adopted in English Universities. Bodies of students will meet together and study certain subjects, and the professors will deliver lectures at intervals. Examinations will be held and diplomas granted.
