G. L. Batchelder, '92, has been elected a business manager of the Lampoon from the freshman class.

Steps are being taken towards the organization of an Andover club. A meeting will be called next week to perfect arrangements.

A new paper is soon to be started at the Roxbury Latin School under the management of the R. L. S. Athletic Association. It will be called the Tripod.

Columbia will probably be represented by a tug-of-war team at the last H. A. A. winter meeting.

Mr. Baker will meet juniors for the purpose of discussing forensics, today, March 1, in Sever 11, at 4 p. m.

The New England Intercollegiate Athletic Association will probably follow the Intercollegiate Athletic Association in withdrawing from the N. A. A. A. A.

There is a balance of $1400 in the treasury of the Intercollegiate Athletic Association. It has been decided to hold the annual games the last Saturday in May.

The university, senior and sophomore crews were on the river yesterday afternoon. As the floats were not out, there was some difficulty in launching the boats. The ice had not entirely left the river.
