We would urge the freshman class to read carefully Mr. Alexander's letter published in another column. Every year there are misunderstandings in regard to the freshman crew which greatly hinder the captain and coach in their efforts to put a good crew upon the water. The difficulties are fully explained by Mr. Alexander. Too much stress cannot be laid upon the importance of getting out every man eligible to try for a place. In this way only can the best eight be selected. The Ninety-three crew has some hard work before it, in the class races and in the race at New London. Nothing but faithful training on the part of the candidates, and hearty support on the part of the class, can bring a successful issue.
