The freshman eleven defeated the Cambridge High school team on Divinity yesterday afternoon by a score of twelve to six. The Cambridge eleven was short two men whose places were fi led by the freshman eleven's substitutes.

K. Brown, '91, made an unsuccessful attempt yesterday afternoon an the Holmes field track to lower the two mile bicycle record of 5 minutes, 59 3-5 seconds. The weather was too cold and windy for very fast time to be made.

The second meeting this year of the Exeter club was held last night. Mr. F. B. McKean, '90, was elected president in the place of F. S. Duncan, '90, resigned. It was decided to have a dinner in the near future and a committee was appointed to make arrangements for the same. A committee was appointed also for the purpose of conferring with a similar committee from the Andover club to give some expression of regret upon the fact that that there is to be no Exeter-Andover football game this fall.
