The Cornell students gave a minstrel entertainment Monday night in favor of the university crew.

A list of the annual examinations in the Law School for 1890 is posted on the bulletin board in Austin.

Mr. W. H. Quinlan, '91, and Mr. H. N. Rice, '91, have been elected regular editors of the CRIMSON.

It is reported that Clarke, captain and catcher of the Williams nine will enter the Medical School in the spring. Besides being a good catcher he is a heavy batter, leading the New England Intercollegiate League.

Yale has forty coach positions and Princeton twenty for the Thanksgiving game at the Berkeley Oval.

Lehigh University library, founded in 1877, contains eighty thousand volumes. Ten thousand volumes have been added the last two years.

It is expected that ground will be broken in the spring for a new divinity hall at Tufts College. The cost will be $100.000, and the most of that sum is already pledged.

Hereafter only those who can be identified by members of their classes appointed for the purpose, shall be allowed on the Princeton campus during football practice.

With the exception of the games with Yale Cornell's record for the football season is 255 points to opponents' 4. The four points were made by Stevens Institute.

A freshman crew is to be organized at Cornell, and the commodore of the Cornell navy hopes to make arrangements for a race with the University of Pennsylvania freshman crew on Cayuga Lake, and a three mile race with the Yale freshman crew at New London next Spring.

In the handicap indoors meeting of the Boston Athletic Association held Monday night, F. B. Lund, '88, won first prize in the standing three jumps, and second prize in the standing high jump; G. S. Mandell, '89, won first prize in the standing high jump, and tied for first prize with H. R. Dalton, jr., in the running high jump.

The Philadelphia Evening Item has sent the following communication to Captain Poe of the Princeton eleven:

"Seeing that Harvard and Yale have in an unsportsmanlike manner agreed to make a combine or trust and play exclusive football between themselves, the Philadelphia Item has decided to offer a silver football valued at $250, as a trophy for competition, emblematic of the intercollegiate football championship of America, open for competition among all colleges of America, Harvard and Yale barred.
