Dr. Lyman Abbott closed his first term of service among us Thursday morning. His stay in Cambridge has been a source of unalloyed pleasure and profit to the students. He has entered into the life of the university, and in a short time has made himself thoroughly a part of it. His coming in the future will always be looked forward to with the liveliest pleasure. Owing to Dr. Abbott's departure on Thursday, Dr. Brooks conducted prayers Friday morning, and will continue in charge of the chapel services during the next three weeks. It is always a pleasure to welcome Dr. Brooks to our midst.
