The method of sale of reserved seat tickets for the Yale game at Springfield has been very unsatisfactory. Instead of reserving specified seats, an enormous number of tickets has been issued admitting the holder to the grand stand. The result is that the very object for which seats are reserved is not accomplished, and purchasers of the tickets will have to go as early to get good seats as though they had not paid an extra price. The difficulty is made more by the ease with which the tickets may be counterfeited. Indeed, it is reported that counterfeits have already appeared. If it is not too late some effort should be made to correct the mistake so that those men who have paid for seats may get them.
