The class championship football games which begin this afternoon are an innovation which deserves the attention of all students. The skill which has been shown by the various class teams in their practice games with the 'Varsity is ample assurance of both the auccess and interest of the series, and we are sure men will be fully repaid for their trouble in wetnessing the games. But the series needs our attention on other grounds than its interest merely. The plan now carrying on is deserving of attention as the first auccessful attempt to organize a series of class games, and the members of the teams are to be congratulated on their efforts. The energy which has been displayed certainly augurs well for Harvard football.
