Candidates for the Harvard Banjo Club will meet Thursday, October 3, at 7 p. m. in 1 Holyoke House. All banjo and guitar players in college are urged to compete. Bring instruments.
FRENCH 2.- The two sections will meet respectively thus: Monday and Wednesday, 10 o'clock Ch Aldrich to Hyatt; 12 o'clock, Jackson to Young; in Sever 3 On Friday both sections will meet at 10 in Sever 35
Graduates who desire to take Phil. 20 b. are requested to meet Professor Royce in U. 16, on Wednesday, October 2, at one o'clock, for a brief consultation and for an announcement of the plan of work.
An introductory talk will be given in English D on Thursday, at 12 o'clock in Sever 11. English C will meet at the same place at 3 o'clock on Thursday. The students in each course are expected to register at the hours named. Throughout the year students may attend either the lectures at 12 o'clock or those at 3 o'clock.
There will be a trial of candidates for the Harvard Glee Club on Wednesday, October 2, and Friday, October 4, at 7.30 p. m., sharp. Every man who can sing at all should come and try for the club. First basses and first tenors are needed especially. The trials will be held in Roberts Hall, Brattle St.
