At the meeting of the Chess and Whist Club last evening, the constitution drawn up by the committee was found satisfactory, and adopted unanimously. It provides, among other things, that there shall be an annual chess tournament open to all members of the university. Changes were also made among the officers. Mr. H. A. Davis, '91, resigned his position of secretary-treasurer, and was elected secretary. The office of treasurer was voted to Mr. O. Everett, '91. Mr. R. C. Harrison, '90, was elected vice-president. These officers, with the president, Mr. S. W. Sturgis, '90, form the executive committee.
