The following statistics of the nine have been compiled from the official scores of the Harvard scorer. The averages show work which, if unsuccessful, was highly creditable to the nine and its captain. Bates, Henshaw and Gallivan led the league in their respective positions, while Willard's average was but 11 per cent, behind that of McBride. In batting, Knowlton led the nine with an average of 376. In the record of stolen bases, Knowlton is ahead, with Quackenboss a close second.
