The thanks of the students are due to the Athletic Committee of the Faculty for the pains and trouble they have taken to find out the falsity of the charges made against our athletic system. The report is a full, fair and interesting one and should be read by all. From the very beginning of the athletic controversy, we have expressed our confidence that the Faculty would consider the question fairly and impartially, and we are glad to see that our confidence was not misplaced. We trust that the recommendations of the Committee will be carried out, and again we thank them in the name of the University for what they have done. We only regret that the report came out too late for us to have a full review of it in our columns.
