At the 141st annual commencement of Princeton, Dr. McCosh delivered his farewell address in the morning and Dr. Patton was inaugurated president in the afternoon, both ceremonies being very impressive and largely attended.
Cornell is to have a new library which will cost $250,000 and will be one of the finest in the country. It will be capable of containing 400,000 volumes. The architecture will be plain and dignified, and the most imposing feature will be a high tower at one corner, in which will be placed a large clock and the college chimes.

Since the defeat of the freshman nine at New Haven the management has been making an effort to arrange another game with the Yale freshmen, hoping in this final test that the nine might retrieve its former misfortune, It declared itself ready to assume all the necessary expense, etc. The Yale men, however, refuse to make arrangements for another game on any considerations whatever.
