We are glad to print the welcome news that Harvard has again won the Mott Haven Cup. The victory that Harvard's representation won was a glorious one, and the thanks of the college are theirs. Faithful training and practice have brought back our University to her rightful place in track athletics. The cup was already ours and so the desire of winning it was not an incentive to hard work; the Mott Haven team has worked to win victory for victory's sake alone. The warmest praise of the college is due to the members of the team, and also to Mr. Lund the captain and Mr. Lathrop the trainer of the team whose efforts have contributed so largely to bringing us victory.
