On last Friday in the Yale gymnasium, LeSassier, '88 S., and Crall, each pulled 800 pounds in the single tug-of war heave.

The acceptances for the eight hundredth anniversary of the University of Bologna are still coming in. Most of the foreign universities send elegant letters in Latin; some are beautifully engrossed on parchment.

Students taking Spanish 1, 2 and 3 and Italian 3 are reminded that a considerable maximum mark is assigned to pronunciation. During the remainder of this year the instructor will give marks for pronunciation, and the average of the credits so allowed will determine the student's mark for this branch of the course.
