Until the present time but ten freshmen have signed for the dinner to be given the Yale nine to-morrow evening. This neglect on the part of the men is shameful. Every man in the freshman class should realize that the success of the dinner depends in a measure on his presence. The freshmen are sure of a cordial welcome and generous treatment at Yale; it will be an unpleasant recollection, the shabby treatment the present evidence of their indifference promises for the Yale men, if it is returned, undoubtedly as it will be, by cordial treatment at New Haven next week. Therefore we urge every man in the freshman class to sign the book at Leavitt and Pierce's at once. It will not be removed till twelve o'clock.
