At the meeting of the overseers yesterday it was voted that in the opinion of the board it was expedient that the existing committee on athletics should be increased by two members of the faculty and one undergraduate, the undergraduate member to be appointed by the undergraduates in such manner as the faculty shall determine; and that the committee should have entire control of all athletic exercises, within and without the preciencts of the university, subject to the authority of the faculty. The committee thus constituted comprises three members of the faculty, one physician, one graduate, and three undergraduates. It was also voted that in the opinion of the board additional grounds should be provided as soon as practicable for athletic purposes.
