Last evening over one hundred and sixty members of '89 enjoyed the most successful class dinner held at Harvard for several years. The class-feeling which was so strongly manifested when the members of eighty-nine were freshmen seemed to awaken stronger than ever. The utmost good spirits and jollity prevailed and the occasion was heartily enjoyed by everyone.

The dinnig-room in Parker's, where the dinner was held, was tastefully decorated with class and 'varsity flags. The large crimson flag with a white " '89" on it, which decorated the freshman quarters at New London three years ago, hung on the wall at the end of the room. The table, shaped like an E, was decorated with flowers. A neat book of songs was laid by each plate. The officers of the dinner were: President, Perry Trafford; toast-master. Benjamin Weaver; orator, Thornton Woodbury; poet, Carleton Hunneman; prophet, J. H. Sears; chorister, M. A. Taylor.

A quartette of juniors from the 'Varsity Glee Club, composed of Bullard, Clark, Hodges and Darling, sang several times during the evening, the rest of the men joining in the choruses. The speeches and songs were well taken and the dinner passed off most agreeably. The committee who had the arrangement of the dinner in charge are to be commended for the way in which they discharged their duties.
