At the second annual meeting of the Central Inter-Collegiate Press Association in Philadelphia, W. L. Hodge, of the Princetonian, was elected president.

At the Intercollegiate Base Ball meeting in New York on Saturday, no decision was reached on the question of the admittance of the University of Pennsylvania.

President Eliot has accepted an invitation to visit Chicago to attend the meeting of the Chicago Harvard Alumni on Feb. 9, and the Harvard Club of St. Louis has asked him to extend his western trip to St. Louis.

Mr. Lathrop will commence giving instruction in wrestling to-day, between 3 and 4 p. m. The first week will be spent in practicing the many holds and breaks, and it is very necessary that those interested should begin at once.

The annual dinner of the Yale Alumni Association of Boston will be held this evening at the Parker House. The undergraduates will be represented by a portion of the Glee Club, and college songs will be a feature of the evening.

Seniors who are entitled to Commencement Parts are reminded that a Part may be substituted for the Thesis of the Senior Forensic Course (see S 3, 32 and 33 of the Regulations). Those intending to write Parts are advised to consider during the mid-year examination period the subjects upon which they desire to write.
