The experiment of holding divine service on Thursday afternoons throughout the winter, begun two years ago, has met with the success it deserved. Every Vesper Service held last year was exceptionally well attended, giving proof of the popularity of these meetings. The service is composed largely of singing. The short address delivered is always upon some subject connected with the University, and hence of interest to the students. The first of this year's series of Vesper Services will be given this afternoon in the Chapel. In addition to the regular choir, the members of the Glee Club have offered their services, and the combined body will render several extra anthems. Service begins at 5 p. m. and lasts about half an hour.
