Stagg of Yale has written a series of four papers on base ball for Harper's Young People, and Hall of Columbia will contribute two articles on lawn tennis to the same periodical.

An advanced course of studies for graduates of the medical school comprising practical and scientific medicine, clinics and laboratory work has been started. The first lecture in the course will be given tomorrow afternoon by Dr. Thomas Dwight. Wednesday, Dr. Dwight will lecture on the "Nervous System." These lectures will be continued through December and January.

The freshmen celebrated their victory over Yale '92. last evening. the class hired a wagon and dragged the team amid a blaze of fire works to Jarvis where they built a huge bon-fire. They heartily cheered the team, the upper classes and themselves and appeared to enjoy their victory in a fighting manner.

Yale's record in foot-ball for 1888 shows a total of 698 points to 0 in thirteen games. This is a higher score than was ever made by a Yale eleven. The points were made from 126 touchdowns from which 69 goals were kicked, 8 goals from the field, and 8 safeties by opponents.
