Chapel Notes.

It is announced that for the convenience of students wishing to attend the vesper services, the college bell will be rung twice on Thursday afternoons, once at a quarter before five, for three minutes, and again at 4.55, for five minutes. The services begin precisely at five o'clock.

A special Christmas service will be held in the college chapel on Thursday evening, December 23. The college term ends on Saturday, but it is the feeling of the preachers to the University that the large number of students spending their holidays in Cambridge should not be neglected. Hence in order that a little of the Christmas feeling may be shared by the students who are unable to be at home, this special service has been arranged. Dr. F. G. Peabody will conduct the service.

As a great many of the regular members of the chapel choir will be absent from Cambridge on Sunday next, Mr. Locke requests all students who can sing either tenor or bass and who can be in Cambridge on Sunday, to attend the rehearsal of the choir in Appleton Chapel, Saturday morning, at 9 o'clock.

At Vespers this afternoon, Mr. P. Richardson of St. Paul's Church, will sing a baritone solo from "Messiah." The choir will sing Christmas anthems written by Gounod and by Sullivan.
