The competitive examination for the position of house officer of the City Hospital for the term beginning January 1. 1889, will take place on next Thursday afternoon, Nov. 8 at the City Hospital. Only men who have attended the Medical School for three years are eligible to the position, but second year men who show the desired proficiency may also compete.
