The cricketers of Philadelphia, encouraged by the easy manner in which they defeated Canada last July, and the recent victories over the Gentlemen of Ireland, will very likely send an eleven over to England next spring. This team will be called, like its predecessor which was so successful, "The Gentlemen of Philadelphia." The former visit was in '84. Sine then many young cricketers have sprung into prominence and by their performances in the recent international matches proved that they could uphold the reputation of the '84 team.
