The freshman crew, which has not been in regular training for the past two weeks, commenced work again last Saturday. They will not return to the river again this fall, but will take daily walks and runs outside of the gymnasium as long as the weather will permit. In bad weather, the usual gymnasium practice will be carried on.

Every effort is being to bring out the best men in the class, and by this time it ought to be thoroughly understood that it is absolutely necessary for every man who intends, at any time in the year, to present himself as a candidate for any position on the crew, to commence training now.
