Nine members of the bicycle club went over the new course which has been definitely chosen for the road race of Nov. 8th. The start is from the gymnasium up North Avenue past Porters Station to Day Street. Turn to the right to Davis Square. Turn left and follow Holland Street and its continuation Broadway to Arlington. Here go to the right on Medford Street and again on Warren Street till it meets Broadway. Turn to the right and go around the triangle again. Then back towards the starting point till near the common; here turn to the right and go via Waterhouse Street to Garden Street, past the Annex and finish opposite Christ Church.
All the riders who finished yesterday were in favor of this course in preference to the old one, although the roads are rougher, because of the absence of railroad crossings, and the convenience of start and finish. Twenty-three entries have already been sent in for the road race.
