The candidates for the Yale freshman foot-ball eleven met Monday evening to elect a captain. There were several ballots, and on the final ballot Mr. Funk, '91 Sheffield, was elected. Mr. Funk is an Andover man and played two years on the Andover eleven. The candidates for the team are working steadily and the prospects are that a strong eleven will be made up.
