We should like to call the attention of all those desirous of trying for places on the editorial board of the CRIMSON that now is the best time of the year to begin sending in contributions. The present board is too small to do thoroughly the amount of work entailed upon them without sacrificing more than a fair share of their leisure time in the performance of their editorial duties. That no one may be discouraged by the feeling that there is "no chance for me," we would state that there are three vacancies to be filled by juniors, two by sophomores, and one by a freshman. Contributions on any topic of general interest, notes, and facts and rumors will always be acceptable, and a perceptible earnestness and willingness to hunt about for news will be taken in account fully as much as brilliancy in style.
